Our patient presented at 4 months of age with epistaxis and anemia, and subsequently suffered a significant intracranial hemorrhage. Currently she is on three-times weekly plasma prophylaxis. Genotyping has revealed homozygosity for a novel mutation in the C-terminus of the F.V protein, which we plan to investigate further.
